About Us
Pawposeful Threads began with two high school students, a shared devotion to animals, and a simple idea: What if that devotion could create meaningful change?
Inspired by rescue animals and traditional artistry, they launched their first partnership with Indigenous women artisans in Guatemala, working together to create handwoven dog and cat toys with a purpose that goes far beyond play.
Each toy brings two missions together: creating meaningful economic opportunities for Indigenous artisans and their communities while supporting shelter animals in need. Guatemala marks the beginning of a broader vision to partner with artisan communities around the world.
What began as a shared dedication to helping animals has grown into a mission connecting pets, people, cultures, and purpose one handcrafted toy at a time.
